Celebrating 40 Years of Innovation: Introducing the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Models
October 27 2023,
In a significant milestone, Chrysler commemorates 40 years of shaping family mobility with the roll-out of its 2024 Pacifica and Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid minivans. Produced at the Windsor Assembly plant in Ontario, these models continue Chrysler's legacy of innovating for families.
Technology Meets Safety
The 2024 Pacifica models are designed with safety as a paramount consideration. They come loaded with a myriad of standard safety and security features, setting them apart as leaders in their class. Elevating driver awareness, the new Uconnect 5 platform debuts an Emergency Vehicle Alert System (EVAS). This cutting-edge feature gives drivers timely notifications of approaching emergency vehicles or potential road hazards, displayed conveniently on the vehicle's cluster and touchscreen interface.
Leading the Charge in Electrification
As the automotive world gradually transitions to electric, Chrysler doesn't lag. The Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid stands as the lone plug-in option in the minivan segment. For 2024, Chrysler diversifies the lineup with two new Plug-in Hybrid models: the Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Select and Pinnacle. Notably, the Select model comes with optional packages that have been popular among consumers, such as the S Appearance and Premium S Appearance packages. As Chrysler sets its sights on an all-electric portfolio by 2028, these hybrid options serve as a crucial bridge to a more sustainable future.
Aesthetic Upgrades to Seal the Deal
For those who prioritize style along with substance, the 2024 Pacifica models come with fresh aesthetic choices. The Pinnacle model will feature a new Sepia interior, adding a layer of luxury to its offering. Additionally, two new exterior colors—Red Hot and Baltic Grey—are set to make a vibrant entry into the palette.
40 Years in a Nutshell
Chrysler’s influence in the minivan sector started back in 1983 with the original Plymouth Voyager. This was the springboard for over 15 million Stellantis minivans sold to date and 117 industry "firsts," including 175 awards and honors for the Pacifica. With its numerous innovations, such as the first electrified powertrain in a minivan, Chrysler has consistently set benchmarks for the industry.
Beginning this month, the 2024 Pacifica and Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid will be available at dealerships, offering families yet another generation of Chrysler’s innovation and commitment to safety.
